Dylan Griffin is a New York based still-life photographer. Raised in Austin, TX. Griffin’s early involvement with the avant-garde company, Hip Pocket Theatre led him to his interest in the arts. He went on to study photography at the University of North Texas and moved to New York in 1999 where he began his career. After three decades of taking pictures, his approach to photography remains simple— to create environments that allow for spontaneity and natural beauty. He loves books by Richard Brautigan, the work of Pina Bausch, is faithful to Stan Smith and makes a mean seafood gumbo.
